Artist Profile: David Wasserman

San Francisco photographer David Wasserman has a
 meticulous eye for detail and a graphic sense of 
composition, perhaps in part because of his original 
training as a field biologist specializing in animal 
behavior and environmental physiology. 
Wasserman's images have been widely used by 
magazines, design firms, and corporate graphics 
departments, and he now works primarily as an 
editorial photographer, although he still does a 
limited amount of corporate photography. He has 
worked extensively for McGraw-Hill Publishing, 
and his photographs have also appeared in such 
publications as Wired, Open Computing, Electronic 
Entertainment, and New Media. He is a principal in 
Texture Farm, a Bay-area CD development group 
that specializes in digitally manipulated photography.
